Hi Manan,

I would suggest to get your resume and linkedIn reviewed by me using free trial session. I will be more than happy to help you.

Also follow below suggestions which you can implement today itself:

1. Laser-Focus Your Resume for Each Role (No Generic Resumes)

Impact: 3–5x higher callback rate

How:

  • Tailor your resume for every job using keywords from the job description.
  • Use tools like Jobscan or Resume Worded to match your resume to the role.
  • Highlight measurable outcomes (e.g., “Improved load time by 45%”, “Led a team of 6 to deliver project 2 months early”).

Immediate action:

Pick 5 target roles and optimize your resume individually for each.

2. Use Referrals Aggressively

Impact: Referrals boost your chances by 4x compared to cold applications

How:

  • Search for 2nd-degree connections on LinkedIn who work at companies you're applying to.
  • Send personalized messages asking for a quick chat or referral.
  • If no connections, reach out politely to employees in similar roles (1–2 messages max).

Immediate action:

Set a daily target to message 5–10 people for referrals.

3. Improve Your LinkedIn Profile Visibility

Impact: Increases chances of being contacted by recruiters

How:

  • Use a strong headline (e.g., “Engineering Manager | Scaled B2C platforms to 10M+ users | Ex-Slice”)
  • Add key skills relevant to your target roles (LinkedIn lets you pin 3).
  • Enable “Open to Work” and make it visible to recruiters.
  • Post value-added content or project summaries 1–2 times a week to improve visibility.

Immediate action:

Update your headline, About section, and pin relevant achievements.

Hello Manan sir,

Here are 2–3 high-impact habits you can follow right away:

▪️ Tailor Your Resume for Every Job:

Don’t use the same resume everywhere.

Before applying to any job, read the job description carefully and update your resume to include the skills and keywords they are looking for.

▪️ Use a strong headline like “Python Developer | Cybersecurity Enthusiast”

▪️ Highlight your projects, certifications, or internships related to that role

▪️ Use simple bullet points showing impact (e.g., “Built a secure login system using Flask and JWT”)

2. Optimize Your LinkedIn Profile & Be Active

Recruiters often find candidates through LinkedIn.

▪️ Update your profile headline and “About” section with your target role

▪️ Add your projects, certifications, and achievements

▪️ Start posting 1–2 times a week – share your learning, small wins, or any projects

▪️ Connect with 5–10 professionals in your field daily (add a short intro message)

3. Apply Smartly – Quality Over Quantity

Don’t just apply randomly to hundreds of jobs.

▪️ Pick 2–3 job boards/platforms (LinkedIn, Internshala, Naukri, etc.)

▪️ Set daily goals (like applying to 5–10 relevant jobs per day)

▪️ Write a short custom c

over note for each application

1️⃣ Customize your resume for every application

Don’t send the same resume everywhere. Tailor your resume headline, skills, and keywords to each JD — match the role’s must-haves. ATS loves this. Just 10–15 mins per application makes a big difference.

2️⃣ Actively reach out — don’t just apply

Instead of only hitting Easy Apply, message recruiters or employees directly on LinkedIn:

  • Short intro + relevant experience + 1 line on why you’re a fit.
  • Ask if they’re open to referring or sharing insights.
  • This easily doubles callbacks.

3️⃣ Make your LinkedIn “searchable & active”

  • Update your headline with clear role + key skill keywords.
  • Add a clear About section with your value & impact.
  • Engage: comment on posts, share thoughts — recruiters notice active profiles first.

Bonus: Apply daily — 3–5 tailored quality applications beat 50 random ones.

  • Quantify achievements: e.g., “Improved ETL pipeline efficiency by 30%.”
  • Keep it 1–2 pages, clean format, and tailored for each job

💡 Bonus: Use tools like Resume Worded or Jobscan to check ATS compatibility.

2. Revamp Your LinkedIn Profile

  • Use a strong headline: “Aspiring Data Engineer | Python, SQL, AWS | Open to Opportunities.”
  • Add a featured section with project links, resume, and certifications
  • Post weekly: Share learnings, projects, or industry insights to increase visibility

💡 Bonus: Connect with recruiters in your domain and send personalized messages.

3. Apply Smartly & Consistently

  • Apply to 20–100 jobs daily on platforms like LinkedIn, Naukri, and Instahyre
  • Use referrals: Reach out to alumni, mentors, or connections in target companies
  • Track applications in a spreadsheet to follow up after 7–10 days

Don't apply for a specific job or prepare for a specific role. Apply for a software engineer. Big companies want good problem solver not programmer. Now programming can be done using AI and for that you have to DSA + Projects + Resume + Core Subjects + System Design(If want to switch for sde 2) only.

For that practice DSA from here -> https://topmate.io/rishabh_garg12/1558360

And for getting interview call hacks from every company (V. V. Imp Sheet) -> https://topmate.io/rishabh_garg12/1650416

From these sheet hacks, you 100% will get the call
