I am eager towards learning backend development like java and it's technologies and frameworks but I don't have interest in front end development, so how much front end is required to get placed ?

Fronted knowledge is not required .Please prepare some datastucure question and start understanding on low lavel design process of java backend.you will definitely crack the interview.best of luck 👍

Hi Tanvi, though ideally you don't need to learn frontend development and you can become a backend developer only. But I would suggest to learn some basic frontend development like html, css, js, react. The reason is first of all, it will increase your scope of openings. Also, it will help you to showcase your projects more. Showcasing a backend project is pretty hard as there is nothing user facing to show. But if you build a solid backend and integrate with basic frontend then atleast you can host your project live and showcase the work. Hope this helps:)

Hi Tanvi,
First of all frontend and backend development is two different thing.
If you have created your resume such that it conveys that your skills and project are related to backend technology then you would not get any frontend related question in your interview. In worst case your getting frontend related question you can politely mention that your experience is in backend only.
