What does mentorship mean to me - A mentor can help build more confidence, and bring out the best version of the mentee through focused conversations using approaches like self assessment, reflection and rehearsal/practise on specific areas of concern. It could eventually help the mentee build new skills, make better decisions, and gain new perspectives on their lives and career as well. 2. What encourages me to be a mentor - My coaching skillsets + my deep interest and drive to make an impact in others' lives by providing support that I myself couldn't get in early stages of my career. I really enjoy mentoring and gives me a lot of self-satisfaction of being able to give back what I have learnt over the years. 3. What steps would I take to empower my mentees - I work closely with mentees to understand their strengths and weaknesses and their expectations from the mentoring sessions. I leverage my experience to bring balance and overall focus to address the areas of improvement, and drive efforts and impact in the right direction, while optimizing on the available time.Career Journey
