Answered By Mentor Divij Bajaj

Data scientists and machine learning engineers do different things in the world of data and technology.

Data scientists are like detectives. They look at a lot of information (data) and try to find patterns or answers to questions. They use special tools to help them understand this data and tell others what it means. Their job is to help companies make smart decisions by looking at numbers and trends.

Machine learning engineers are more like builders. They take the ideas that data scientists come up with and turn them into programs or systems that can learn and make decisions on their own. These engineers know a lot about programming and how to make these systems work well and fast. Their job is to create smart machines that can do tasks by learning from data.

In short, data scientists figure out what the data is saying, and machine learning engineers build systems that use this information to do tasks or solve problems.
