what to do to crack ML Roles in MAANG companies so like being from tier 3 is it possible also for ML roles guide me how I can do it like how u being from tier 3 manage this with college and get ml roles in top mncs.how to crack ML roles in MAANG from a Tier-3 college? If yes, how did you manage it along with college? For ML roles, should I go through programs like GSoC, Microsoft Engage, etc., or focus on DSA and apply directly? How can I get interviews scheduled in MAANG being from a Tier-3 university with no referrals? How important are profiles like LeetCode, Codeforces, GitHub? How many DSA leetcode questions are enough to build strong logic?some resources pls suggest and sheets patterns? Which DSA topics and patterns are most important for cracking Google-level interviews? Any resources you'd recommend? I'm facing difficulty managing 75% college attendance + consistency in coding — how to handle this better? DSA in Java vs C++vs python — which is better for interviews and performance?(i have done lil bit in cpp java both) I’m confused between full-stack (Spring Boot, React) and ML — which one should I fully focus on if I want to get into MAANG? What type of projects actually help in getting noticed by recruiters at top companies? What’s the best way to divide my week between DSA, dev, academics, and personal growth? Any suggestions to stay consistent and motivated even with pressure from college? also how to get interview scheduled being from tier 3 university . should i directly can apply to google maang or before that i have to gain work experience or internships somewhere? thanks for the reply pls do reply !! 😊

Hemant,

Your questions is a common questions every student has. I am glad you asked it.

For anyone to be successful always remember to focus on core concepts. That's why FAANG companies focus on DSA and problem solving ( I am a very good mentor who can help you master DSA concepts and help you master the art of solving leetcode problems).

ML/Gen AI are very important so you should join some online course on coursers or Udemy or in your college if they offer ML/AI courses.

University ranking matters a lot for FAANG but there are also lots of Tier 1 product companies which select students by their profile + skills for internship. So be positive and master the core concepts.

I will be more than happy to guide you more in 1-1 free trial sessions.

Yes, cracking ML roles in MAANG from a Tier-3 college is absolutely possible — I’ve been through the same journey. I’m a Software Engineer at Microsoft with 4 years of experience, and I managed to balance college, DSA, and projects to break into a top tech company without referrals.

If you're aiming for ML roles, you need a smart balance of strong DSA fundamentals, real-world ML projects, and a solid resume. Platforms like GSoC or Engage are great if you get in, but you don’t have to wait. You can build your own path with the right guidance.

That’s why I’ve started a mentorship program to help students like you. Here's what I offer:

📘 Personalized DSA Roadmap

💬 24/7 Chat Support

🎤 2 Mock Interviews/month

📄 Resume Reviews

📞 1-on-1 Call Support

💼 Job Hunt Guidance (LinkedIn, outreach, etc.)

🚀 ML/Dev Project Guidance

Whether you're confused between ML and full-stack, struggling with consistency, or not sure how to build your profile — I’ll guide you step by step.

You don’t need a Tier-1 tag to crack MAANG — just the right direction.

Let’s start your journey. Book a session today! 🌟
