Is a Tier-1 MBA degree essential to transition into a Product Manager role in an MNC, or can strong industry experience and skill-building compensate for it?

Strong Business Acumen and skill set is enough to compensate for not being graduated from Tier-1 Universities. However preference will always be given to one with better University Background. You have to be solid in your presentation and soft skills to justify your expectations to be at top.
