I have 8 yrs of experience in IT but relevant in cybersecurity it’s 1 year. My job role performing risk assessment and doing health checks that too on the basis of SOPs. I am very confused how to proceed further in this field.

Cybersecurity is a vast field with a variety of career opportunities, A Security Operations team is used to monitor the threats, risks and vulnerabilities and focus on Incident responses. Preparing for Annual IT audits like ISMS and updating policies and procedures and so on.
You have to first choose the field in which you are interested and plan your future. Obtaining security certifications can help you advance your career in the security industry.
