I am wondering if one is switching company, whether salary would be given as equally experienced working there or will be on the basis of percentage hike of current salary??Bcoz I want to join MAANG, and currently I am working at 13.5 CTC. I have worked here as 6 months intern and having 7 months of full time experience. I want to clear this doubt before applying to the best companies out there, because if hike is on the basis of percentage of current salary, then there is no point in joining MAANG now.

Considering the job market right now. It is uncertain what the salary structure would be like but typically MAANG companies have brackets assigned to type of recruitments - Tier1 and Tier2 freshers have separate bands, and similarly folks from big companies and service based companies have separate bands.
But at the end it depends on your negotiation skills and how well your interview goes.
A pragmatic approach here would be to start preparing and get connected with the HRs so that you can interview with companies who are willing to meet your salary expectations.
