While AI will throw the below recommendations, I would strongly recommend to continue your day job and parallelly work on the below points. Having a balance between passion and regular financial income is tricky.

Switching from a non-IT domain like order management to AWS/DevOps is achievable with a structured plan. Here's how you can approach it:

1. Learn the Basics

  • Understand Cloud Computing: Start with AWS as it's the most in-demand. Use platforms like AWS Skill Builder, Udemy, or Coursera.
  • Learn Linux and Networking: Many DevOps roles require a good understanding of Linux and basic networking concepts.
  • Programming Basics: Python or Shell scripting is a good starting point.

2. Gain AWS Certifications

  • Start with AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (foundational level).
  • Progress to AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified Developer – Associate.
  • Add AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional as you advance.

3. Learn DevOps Tools

  • Master tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, and Git/GitHub.
  • Learn about CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and infrastructure as code (IaC).

4. Hands-On Practice

  • Use the AWS Free Tier to practice building cloud-based solutions.
  • Work on small projects like hosting a website, setting up CI/CD pipelines, or managing containers with Docker/Kubernetes.

5. Build a Portfolio

  • Create a GitHub repository showcasing your projects.
  • Document your journey on LinkedIn or a personal blog to increase visibility.

6. Upskill with Online Courses

  • Platforms like A Cloud Guru, Pluralsight, or freeCodeCamp offer excellent AWS/DevOps resources.
  • Join bootcamps or certification-specific courses for guided learning.

7. Networking and Community

  • Join AWS/DevOps meetups, forums, and LinkedIn groups.
  • Network with professionals in the field for mentorship and job referrals.

8. Gain Real-World Experience

  • Consider internships, freelance projects, or contributing to open-source DevOps projects.
  • Apply for entry-level cloud/DevOps roles or transition within your current company if they use AWS.

9. Tailor Your Resume

  • Highlight transferable skills like process optimization, attention to detail, or stakeholder management from your order management experience.
  • Showcase AWS certifications, projects, and technical skills prominently.

10. Job Search Strategy

  • Target entry-level IT roles like Cloud Support Associate, Junior DevOps Engineer, or SysOps Administrator.
  • Use job portals, network referrals, and direct applications.
