Mentee Question

Asked by Prajwal Singh

Hello Nabomita, I'm Prajwal, Currently I am working at AMD as a GenAI performance engineer with a lot of interest in GenAI. So far, I have worked more on the architectural and hardware side of the things and want to transition towards being more hands on with the software side. Outside my professional capacity, I have worked on projects like: - Pre-Training an LLM from scratch on 4x Nvidia GPUs using DDP. - Finetuning different models with Performance/Speed tradeoff - GRPO reasoning training for a model. - Agentic AI system for predicting IPO, involving entire pipeline of scraping documents to making a multi agent system. - Reinforcement Learning Projects involving RLHF, PPO. ------- My experience level is around 2 years, but I can assure you I am a quick learner and can definitely be a great addition the team. My issue has mostly been that it's been very hard for to get interviews as most MNCs look to hire from SDE 3 and beyond. I am confident enough that I can crack the interviews but getting some has been quite hard. I was wondering if this is something you can help me with. Thank you again!

Please work on your resume. Check if it's ATS compliant. Also add relevant projects about gen AI. Along with that if possible try to do some certification which will give ve your profile some credibility
