Hello Aklank sir, I am currently pursuing MTech from IIT Madras and I am having placements very soon, so, I am looking for a mentor. I am lacking in placement preparation. Can you tell me how I should approach this now. Thank you.

Placement season always bring those jitters. There are multiple things we can do to improve our placement preparation, most of the time the things that are asked in placements are pretty much same and with efforts on them, you can save significant time and give yourself an edge
- Prepare resume well and be thourough with it. Most probably you'll be asked to go through it and knowing and showcasing your best , with impact is a great way to make a nice impression
- Prepare HR Questions - Tell me about yourself, Strengths and Weakness , Long term view etc are also important question which are asked multiple times in an interview.
- Academic Knowledge :- Since you're completing your Mtech, you would already have some core subjects that you'll be good in, revise them and improve your hold on them, that will help you a lot of answers that might be asked to you relative to your field.
Rest, you can check how placement process is for respective companies and prepare accordingly based on what companies usually come for recruitment in your campus.
