There are open sources projects which you can work upon and put that in your resume. other than that try to gain some internship experience along with some project which you can make with your friends. having Experience is good but not a critical criteria to evaluate a fresher. Freshers are evaluated based on the knowledge which they posses for CS fundamentals, DS and algo.

You can definitely get short term and long term internships through Linkedin and other platforms. If you are in your 1st/2nd year of college they do not really expect you to have a lot of experience and some good projects can actually make up for it!
