My Year in Review: Corporate World- A never ending Roller Coaster Ride
Losing a million $ in 7 days or surviving tech without a mentor? A good read for everyone in tech, and those looking to get into tech.
Prologue
Like most Indians, I grew up in not so well to do family, we were the definition of hustlers. My dad hustled all his life to get out of middle class spectrum, or at least I felt that in childhood that we will get out of spectrum when I grow out of my family. Lol it feels like a joke when I think about it now. Luckily I was sent to do Engineering, where I spent the rest of my time growing myself as a credible skilled Labour.
I had plans to study Electronics and Telecommunications at the university or I would rather say my group of friends were also planning to move into the field, getting into robotics back in 2013 was a dream and in no time it became unreal. I soon realized that getting unsuccessful at something is not that bad as long as you have friends to guide you along the path. And getting scared of failure was not something that I followed. So sooner or later I got some great experience in getting failed, but that's the part of experiment right (an experiment with career)?
After transitioning my career in full-stack development it was not that hard I would say, Back in 2020 I received my masters where I showcase my skills in various UI/UX designs, web development projects(Back then the professor was only teaching PHP, It was quite easy to pass the exam), but later on things became extremely complex when web mining, data mining and machine learning classes came into picture and I developed good interest . That's when I realized what I actually wanted to pursue but I wanted so badly to make money that I moved on to the things with lesser potential.
